Most people probably thought that "3"
referred to a third issue. That is not the case. It actually
referred to a a full color retro gaming oriented book that we have had
underway for quite some time. The book is done, but we have
decided to hold off on the publishing for now.
This was a hard decision to make, especially since
a lot of people devoted a lot of time and effort to the book. We
have learned a lot about the video game collectors' and retro gaming
market both during and after the magazine print run. We feel that
the economics involved in bringing this book to market, combined with
the amount of potential buyers just doesn't make financial
sense.
We wanted to give you guys and gals something
really special. Something you would want to show off to all of
your gaming friends. Anything less just does not interest us here
at Manci Games. It's the same reason we didn't continue the
magazine on as an online mag. It was print, or nothing, for
us. For now, the book is shelved.
